Today the political campaigns are over and I am extremely grateful. Our system may not be perfect since the corruption runs very deep within our politics and media but one thing I am sure of is without casting a vote today you officially are saying you give up. You forfeit your right to complain about our government for the next 4 years. 

Our system has its flaws but be grateful for a choice and have faith that your vote will matter. If the election does not go as you had hoped remember that for other people it did and that is the nature of the beast, some people win and some people lose. This is not youth sports there will be a tie and the runner up does not get a participation award. This is America’s chance to make a difference and elect new representation, so get off your ass and vote.
