Kurt Busch Takes the Checkered at Daytona
In a crashed riddled race Kurt Busch with Stewart Haas Racing took the checked flag, despite not leading a lap throughout the entire race. Completing the final 30 laps with no rearview mirror Busch stated it was an omen that he didn’t need it anymore and it was time to drive defensively and capitalize on others’ mistakes.
Around lap 100, 4 consecutive crashes took out almost half of the field giving Kurt the advantage.
