October 1, 2020 – Elkhart Lake, WI: CTech and Lemons of Love are very excited to announce a unique giveaway opportunity for racers, crew, and fans attending this year’s SCCA Runoffs at Road America. By visiting the Lemons of Love kiosk and offering a donation, entrants will enter for a chance to win a lightweight aluminum CTech Service Cart valued at over $580. All donations go towards creating care packages that go to individuals impacted by cancer.

The winner will choose a powder coat finish for their new CTech Service Cart, adding valuable mobile storage and style to any garage, workspace, trailer, or paddock area. CTech, the official Cart, Cabinet, and Drawer Provider to Road America, has a long history of providing high-performance aluminum storage products to some of the racing industry’s most successful teams in NASCAR, IndyCar, SCCA, IMSA, WoO, and many other disciplines.

Both CTech and Lemons of Love were born in the racing industry, making their newly found partnership a match made in motorsport heaven. Max Kittleson, CTech Marketing team member and longtime SCCA member, had this to say about the giveaway:

“I first heard about Lemons of Love back in 2016 when they announced their extremely-popular Mazda MX-5 Cup Car giveaway, which made waves in SCCA and other road racing communities. After getting to know Jill [Swanson, Lemons of Love Founder] and her story I am extremely proud to see this partnership come to life. Our ultimate goal is to get more care packages into the hands of people impacted by cancer.”

Lemons of Love is a 501(c)( 3) nonprofit organization created in 2014 by Jill Swanson Peltier, a cancer survivor herself, to deliver chemo care packages and provide psychosocial programs for individuals impacted by cancer. When Jill began chemotherapy, a friend delivered a small gift filled with items to help her get through the ordeal. Touched by the thoughtfulness of this gift, Jill set out to make an impact of her own and the rest is history.

All donations made to Lemons of Love, at the track or otherwise, are tax-deductible. Each year Lemons of Love shares more than 3,000 care packages to people in our own community and abroad.
